The metrics that actually move sales
Impressions, likes, and reach are activity, not outcomes. They feel like progress and explain almost nothing about whether sales moved.

The metrics that matter are uncomfortable because they’re accountable: incremental revenue, customer acquisition cost, and the rate at which a brand is chosen without being paid for.
We report on the numbers a CFO recognises. If a metric can go up while the business goes nowhere, it doesn’t belong at the top of the deck.
